• Power for the day ahead
Gloriously fragrant, freshly ground coffee from the buffet. Ham & eggs, plus a deliciously sinful slice of freshly baked bundt cake from our patisserie. Plenty of energy for all of those exciting challenges ahead.
Tip 1 for Couples: A Day full of Treats
• Power for the day ahead
• Private Ski Lessons – Private Instructors
Learn a new sport together. Create memories. And shared experiences. Even as an adult, learning to ski is very easy, especially with a private instructor. We meet in-house, downstairs at the Sport Alpin ski school. Private lessons take place right next to the hotel, so not to fear, you won’t even have to go all the way up a mountain right away. As you can see, as easy as pie, next to our resort.
• Lunch with “my” ski instructor
During lunch at the AlpineSnack, you will get to know your ski instructor better. Feel free to bombard him with questions: about technique, equipment, the ski area, or just a few skiing stories. Most of us weren’t born with a pair of skis already on our feet, so fire away with your questions!
• Afterwards, practice what you have learned
In the afternoon, you’ll feel completely reenergized and ready to practice everything you learned during the morning.
• Après-ski in the umbrella bar at the AlpineResort
By now, you’ll definitely have earned this: a high-spirited après-ski party in our umbrella bar. Fun, good music, great drinks, and lots of friendly party people. Need we say more?
Tip 2 for Couples: Freerider and Ski-Freak Day
• 8 a.m. head for the ski depot
On this day, you’ll be the first at the breakfast table. But it will be worth your while. Then go get your equipment at eight and pull your freshly tuned skis out of the locker. Pull on a pair of warm boots and off you go!
• Espresso at the AlpineSnack
A quick, freshly ground espresso at the AlpineSnack will wake you up in no time. Then, you’ll be ready to hop on the
• First gondola of the day
So that you’re the first to slice down the expert pistes or through the fresh deep-snow. Enjoy this snowy playground to your heart’s content, feel the clear mountain air rushing past your cheeks, and glide down the slopes at top speed, with a sense of ultimate freedom.
• Lunch at 2,000 meters above sea level
When you are ready for a break, stop in at one of the rustic huts up in the mountains. Surrounded by all of that snow, it’s incredibly romantic as well, of course.
• Return in the early afternoon, then enjoy the pool in peace
Early birds generally end their day of skiing in the afternoon. That’s also when the pool is quiet, since other guests are still up in the mountains. Which is what makes it so great. Simply stretch out on the lounge chairs next to the pool, gazing up at the other winter athletes.
How good the warmth from the sauna feels. It really mellows you out. Two to three sauna sessions, including affusions. This is all about pure relaxation. And if you need even more relaxation, we suggest booking a
• Massage with aromatic oils
The most pleasant, most sensual use of essential oils. Their essences activate, relax, and reduce stress. Simply book one day in advance at our reception desk.
• Tea next to the fireplace
After a long and active day that has included the sauna, massage and putting your feet up, it’s time for a fine cup of tea. In front of a crackling fire. Looking forward to a delectable conclusion to your day, thanks to the evening buffet in the restaurant.
Tip 3 for Couples: Psst... our secret tip
• Sportily elegant skiing experiences
The Schmittenhöhe. Ski to your heart’s content on 77 kilometers of pistes. Including 5 valley runs. And the “Trass”. Sure to set your pulse racing.
• Refreshments at the Pinzgauer Hütte on the Schmitten
A break for refreshments at the Pinzgauer Hütte is always rewarding. Delicious homemade dishes, a sunny terrace with views of the Hohe Tauern and the Grossglockner, Austria’s highest mountain.
• Ride to the top of the piste towed by a Skidoo – great fun
A Skidoo, a snowmobile in other words, will tow you back to the piste. It’s great fun and quite a rush gliding across the snow with such amazing ease.
• Après-ski in our umbrella bar
Back at the resort, first you’ll probably want to treat yourself to a drink in the umbrella bar on the terrace. Before you know it, you will have already caught onto the infectious après-ski vibe. At that point, get to know some really nice people and enjoy the carefree atmosphere.
• Dinner in the restaurant
By now, you will definitely need some added sustenance. So, begin with a mouthwatering appetizer. Then pick and choose from a selection of hot and cold dishes. Accompanied by fresh salads. Maybe followed by an exciting
• Game of ice hockey at the ice rink in Zell am See
In the mood for even more thrills? Feel free! May we suggest the vibrant atmosphere of an ice hockey game? You won’t be able to stay in your seat. So, stand up and cheer on your favorite team with the rest of the fans.
