Fun and Action – Funslope and a Genuine Family Highlight

Who really wants to ski in single file behind the ski instructor, day after day? Well, winter holidays look quite a bit different here at our AlpineResort: On the Schmittenhöhe, which is right outside our front door, you are also greeted by the world’s longest funslope. 1300 meters of pure enjoyment. With lots of speed, fun and technique, gliding through various types of natural terrain as well as shaped obstacles. Just like when your parents used to ski down wild forest paths and across fields “back in the day”. Except way cooler! Though beware, your leg muscles might ache a little come evening! Which is why it’s a good thing that your parents have decided to stay at the AlpineResort, giving you a chance to float weightlessly in the pool afterwards.

Eagle Line – a whole new dimension of adventure

Race fans and action skiers let it all hang out on the funline and funslope in the nearby Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area. With banked curves, small jumps and various other obstacles. This special piste is a real adventure, though not just for specialists. Even as a rookie or beginner, you are sure to have lots of fun on two skis.

Maisi Fantasy Park – perfect for smaller children

In the Maisi Fantasy Park on Maiskogel Family Mountain, even younger kids can pull out their bag of tricks. Moguls runs, banked turns and jumps, designed especially with kids in mind. Sure to whet the appetite of every young freestyler. Kickers, waves and rails. Everything’s there for your cool tricks and moves. Incidentally, admission to the park is free. And the experienced shapers are constantly coming up with new obstacles depending on snow conditions. With all the variety you could ever wish for.

Small ski stars learn and train with Schmidolin, the cute dragon mascot

Schmidolin, a little dragon, makes his home on the Schmittenhöhe and is a true ski star in his own right. Wherever he appears, you can be sure there’s something fun going on. Get to know Schmidolin personally, out on the Glocknerwiese on the Schmittenhöhe. In the flat “Dragon’s Park”, Schmidolin will help you learn the fundamentals of skiing along with a few basic rules. Those rules are important to him. He also supports the ski instructors while they teach their ski courses. With just a little practice, out on the Kids’ Slope you will master new challenges, obstacles and figures faster than you ever imagined possible. Before you know it, you will be zooming down the mountain like one of the great ski racers you see on TV.
