Tip 1: Adventure for Dragon Hunters

• Schmidolin’s Baptism of Fire – Schmittenhöhe
You’ll set out on the cityXpress, up to the Schmittenhöhe. Along an interactive hiking path, you’ll now have to answer a series of tricky questions, solve some puzzles and pass a few small tests of courage.

• Cooling off in the reservoir
Jump into the reservoir at 1200 meters above sea level. On the shore, you can munch on a pack lunch from the AlpineResort, which you will have put together earlier that morning.

• Kids run & play in the garden or the KinderClub, mom and dad kick back & enjoy
While their children spend the afternoon in the garden, their parents can quietly enjoy coffee and desserts from our own patisserie.

• Or: Afternoon at the indoor pool
Enjoy part of the afternoon splashing around weightlessly in the water with dad. In the meantime, mom can treat herself to a relaxing massage in the RelaxZone.

Tip 2: Water Play

• Extended Breakfast
In the morning, why not extend your breakfast and enjoy a freshly ground coffee out on the terrace, while your children are having a great time out in the meadow.

• Refreshing Hike through Sigmund Thun Gorge
Afterwards, put on your hiking clothes and head to Sigmund Thun Gorge, an experience for the whole family. You will make your way alongside the thunderous waters of the gorge up to a lake.

• A break next to the lake
Enjoy a break next to the idyllic lake. Those of you looking for a real hiking challenge might then choose to continue up to the glacier, at 3,029 meters above sea level.

Tip 3: “Take it easy” family day

• Get the day off to a relaxed start: On the sun-terrace
A freshly ground coffee, latte macchiato or tea. Along with a delicious piece of cake from our own patisserie. Relax out on our terrace. Enjoy the sunshine. Lose yourself in dreams stretched out on a lounge chair in the garden. Naturally, with one eye on the kids, who are having fun in the indoor pool.

• Friday morning: Ride the Postbus to Zell am See
Explore the town center of Zell am See. Friday morning, take the Postbus into town, where they hold a weekly market. Every Friday until the end of November.

• Cruises on Zeller See
And then, it’s time for a scenic cruise across Zeller See. From out on the lake, you can truly appreciate the beauty of the natural landscapes and the imposing mountain panorama, as well as the backdrop of Zell am See itself. A great photo opportunity.
